VSTDealsBot/1.0 is the crawler behind VST Deals Price Watch. It checks product prices at a small number of music-software retailers so we can show price history and alert people when a price drops.
How it behaves
- Obeys
robots.txton every domain it visits. - At most one request at a time per site, with at least a one-second gap.
- Sends conditional requests and skips pages that haven't changed.
- Backs off on errors and stops entirely if a site is struggling.
- Only checks products someone is actively watching or that are on sale, not the whole web.
