What Price Watch stores
When you set up a price watch we store your email address, the products you asked us to watch, any target price you set, and the timestamps of our emails to you. To prove your consent under UK GDPR/PECR we also keep a hashed record of the IP address and browser you used when you signed up — not the raw IP.
Consent & double opt-in
We only email you after you click the confirmation link we send. Until you confirm, nothing is sent and your watch stays inactive. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted
If you don't confirm within 14 days, we automatically and permanently delete your email and any pending watches. We don't keep unconfirmed addresses.
Your marketing list
When you confirm, we add your email to our VST Deals mailing list (SendFox) so you can also receive the daily deals roundup. You can unsubscribe from that separately at any time; it never sends your price alerts.
Delete everything, yourself
Open the manage link in any email we've sent you and use “Delete all my data.” It permanently removes your email, watches, and queued messages immediately — no request needed. You can also email george@yourlocalmusician.com.
